Default Heads & Tails for 2005 Dodge Ram 1500

Does anyone know whether or not the newer style headlights and tailights (say from an 07 Ram) would fit on the 2005 ram? I like the rounded style on the newer tailights and the running lights placement on the headlights...Thanks!

They will but only you swap out the entire front clip meaning fenders, bumper, grill shell and obviously the headlights. The hoods are the same

isn't the wiring a bit different on the 2007 tails? or is it literally a plug and play?

then why is it that any aftermarket lights are specific for 2007-2008 years, and not 02-08 like so many other interchangeable parts?

I've tried to see a difference, and I can't, but according to all the ads on ebay and stuff I've looked at, they are year specific.

anyone else?

Aftermarket has wiring because of the LED lights in them

If the 08 stock Tails are what you are looking for, I just took mine off and replaced them with some LED's. Great condition, but I had to keep a couple of bulbs to put in the LED's.
