Default Flowmaster? Borla? Magnaflow? HELP!!!

I'm trying to decide within these three as i've always heard that they're the best. I want the best sound, performance, and of course mileage!

I have a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT Quad cab 5.7L HEMI Bone stock right now!

I want my Hemi to sound like a bad to the bone HEMI the way it should! I have just bought my K&N intake and i know they should work reall good together!

Any tips?

what'll give me the best sound, performance and all the works?
I dont mind it being loud but i want it sounding nice and loud not crappy loud!

Thanks!!!

I have a 96 1500 with the 5.9 and I have had all of those but my opinion would be a 10 series flowmasters if you want that muscle car sound!! But thats just me

10 series? Ok. I think the system I was looking at was the 50. I was looking up pros n cons on muffler shop work and mandrel bent kits and muffler shops really restrict the flow.

Well just a dump isn't good either. If you want it really aggressive then the 10 is great if you want mild then a 40 series is for you the 50 is ok but a little more quiet than a 40

I have the american thunder series complete system from flowmaster on my truck. Its a 50 series its sounds ok but I want a little deeper sound trying to go with a 40 series. I had the 10 series on my also and it was just to damn loud!

I have a knock off 40 series flowmaster dumped before the axle. Very deep and throaty, no cackle, some drone at highway speeds and I really didn't notice any mileage change. I love the sound of it.

I have the flowmaster 50 series. Ive had mines for 6 years, they still sound great. At idle or cruzzing you get a low rumble. On acceleration I get a loud heavy rumble. When cruzzing between 65 & 70 mph, I get an annoying resonating tone.

Borla. Will give a good sound without a lot of drone. You have to be careful with aftermarket exhaust on HEMI vehicles as the HEMI is a drone monster. If you have any issues with drone then the Borla is the way to go.

I have a Borla ProXS( SI/DO - exit under bumper )on my 08 and the sound is great. Mellow under normal operation but it roars under WOT. The best part is no drone.

Had a Magnaflow on my 04 which was the same basic truck as my 08( just no MDS )and I HATED it. Within 15 minutes the drone had me sick to my stomach and wiith a headache. Same approx sound outside as the Borla just a ton of drone inside that killed it. I like Magnaflow and think they make quality stuff. Just not something I would put on a HEMI.

Forget Flowmaster. IMO they are junk and they sound horrendous( obnoxious )plus they drone like a mother in any HEMI I have been in.

Here are some sound clips of my truck from inside the cab( something happened on PB that messed up the credits vs when the sound starts??? )...

I have the Borla Also and im very happy with it.Its not as loud as some of the series Flowmasters, But when you hit the gas you can definetly hear it. Im very happy with it.It is way more expensive than Flowmaster, FYI. I orderd it from Amazon and The muffler shop guy who installed it said is top of the line because of the material and because the pipes are actually all one piece at the curves and not peices put toghether if that makes any sense..
