Default putting in a cb and too big for dash..Any thoughts ?

Hey folks, I am wanting to put a cb in my qc 2007 and I am having trouble figuring out where to put it. I do not want the bulky unit to be in the way or an eye sore. I was thinking about the bottom compartment of my center seat. the seat back folds up then the bottom part of the seat is a compartment. I was thinking of mounting it to the bottom of the seat so when you open the compartment it is face up and you are looking at the unit. Any other thoughts or ideas would be great! If you have any pics of where you mounted yours and where the antenna was run and how you brought it into the cab that would be great too. Thanks for the input !!

If I could figure out kow to get a picture on here I would show you a bracket that I had made so that I can set the cb between the seat and the cup tray with the controls facing strait up so you can see and adjust controls and allso put this in other vehicles I'll see if I can figure this out

Does it look something like this?

It's from Geno's Garage. A lot of Cummin's drivers use them.

Good luck,

Thanks for the input guys, and keep em coming it looks like that bracket for right in front of the middle seat so far would be the best. Any other thoughts would be great.

Do a search, theres a great big thread on here somewhere I found.
I just velcro'd mine to the dash. Most options are on the tranny hump, overhead, under the seat, or on the plastic beneath the steering wheel
