Default Third Brake Light

Hey guys, my tail lights are no led but are after market. Meaning they just use the regular bulb to luminate the housing.

My question is, does anyone know where I can find a third brake light that is similar to these tails? That is not LED. All of the ones I can find on ebay are LED. Any help would be great, also I should fill everyone in on my struggles with my front end susp. The other day I decided to just check out my front end to make sure I did not have any boots blown etc, turns out my cv axles were all out of wack! You could push them around as they were broken or something and were very loose on the stub with lots of play. I only have about 95000 on the truck. I decided to go ahead and just replace both shafts because they had to much slack in them. I finally get the axles to come out, and bam both sides the stubs came with them. Put them on vice grips and got them apart, turns out the spline and axles were rusted and the teeth were worn down. Ended up dropping 50 a piece on each axle, 60 for one stub, and 120 for the other stub. What a bummer, as I was hoping to get all new brakes all the way around + new blisteins for the front. Boo hoo, has anyone had that problem before also? Thanks for listening to me babble if you made it all the way through the paragraph.

Nothing, My tails are not led, so a LED third brake light might look awkward hah

Ya I guess I will just have to convert to all LEDs. I just think having LED thirdbrake light and standard bulbs in tails would just look incorrect.

Just go back to ebay and buy some red 3057 or 3157 LED bulbs

I had a Regal that I put just regular LED bulbs in, they were bright as hell, but the only problem I had was that the turn signals flashed fast. I think that was because there wasnt enough resistance. How can I overcome this if I put new bulbs in my tails?

You mean it lit up fast or flashed really fast?

The LED doesnt always show enough resistance to the vehicle and you have to add in a resistor
