I just purchased my 2007 1500 4x4 slt, it has eagle eyes headlights. the halo parts are not working, im told there is some kind of convertor or resistor that powers the halo's.

Can anyone help me?

You are dealing with cheap foreign made lights. Test the wiring and connections, and make sure the things are even getting power to the halos. I think if the halo bulb goes out you have to either break them open or get new ones

they have power, one side has a box attached and when hooked up the halos light up like they are suppose to, however i dont know how to get the other side working, not sure if its voltage convertor or resistor...

all it says is warning, no part number, or anything on the external box wired into the light on the one side.

thanks JayRo

is the HALO getting power. The wire going to the halo. Not just the light itself

the light has power, the marker lights and the led's have power, but the halo require a convertor and that is missing, all the research ive done the part is not sold seperate

hence why I said when it goes out you have to buy a new one. We have had a few have this problem before.

I'm sure there is a replacement "voltage converter" but if all the thing you think is broken does is drop the voltage you could put a resistor in
