Where is the PVC valve located?

Default Where is the PVC valve located?

where do i physically locate the PVc valve on a 2004 1500 ram w/ 5.7 hemi?

i looked all the logical places and cant find it. i wanted to inspect replace if needed since its turning over 80K miles.

Intake manifold, on the passenger side, right behind the throttle body... I'll see if I can find a pic and post back...

thanks Hammer. i assume its the thing with what appears to be twist off handle? if so, does it twist out or pull out?

the other part in the photo with the metal clip over the tube is the EGR valve "in" right?

Usually takes pliers. Rotate counter-clockwise to remove. You still may have to pull up once it's released. I see Hammer's has the ramp to help remove the unit. My '03 doesn't have that, but my '06 C does. The EGR is usually on the front of the motor, passenger side.

mine appears exactly like hammer's. i'll give it a twist and pull. have never seen PVC's configured like these (im a GM guy for the most part). I have no idea what this PVC should look like. hopefully it will come out in one piece!

It's not a conventional valve for sure and it's located right next to the EGR input pipe.
