I am looking for headers or a full exhaust system with headers for my 08 4.7L. Also looking for a mod 500 or less to increase my HP/MPG.

 

For that money you should be able to do the exhaust ( not the headers) and an efan which will help most with mpg. Maybe the headers too depending on where you live. In Canada definitely not all 3 unless it's all used.

 

i have muffler back mangnaflow already. so i wanted to put some headers on it. i live in the northeast.

 

You should be good for headers & the efan then.

 

Don't forget to get rid of that craptastic "Y" pipe!

 

Last time I checked they only had shorty headers for the 4.7. Might be a manufacturer of long tube headers now but I dunno.

Efan is one of your best mods as far as MPG, but your foot/tire wheel combo helps the most

 

who makes the headers and efan? what excatly does the efan do?

 

E-fan replaces the stock fan on the water pump and reduces parasitic drag on the engine and therefore helps improve fuel mileage. Check out FAQs for a thread on how to do it or do a thread search as there are plenty of threads on it
