Finally Lifted..Wheels..Tires..and More..PICS!!!
I did a 2 1/2" Pro Comp level kit and a PA 3" body lift. Absolutly no tire rub.
I did'nt ask them about the bumpers but i think thats what i'm gonna do with em. The nerf bars turned out awsome and i think the bumpers would look sick with the Line-X. By the way, your black grill looks great. I was thinking of leaving my inserts black and color matching the frame but after looking at yours, i may go all black also.
Thanks for the compliment Hammer, i appriciate it. I totally agree with you on blacking out the rest of the chrome. Thats where i'm heading, but i better slow it down for a minute so the wife dose'nt tell me to take my truck and hit the pavement. LOL By the way, thanks for the nickname...my truck is now offocially known as KILLER!!
I got the flares from a local shop called Ohio Light Truck Parts or OLTP they are made by Stampede and are an exact copy of the Bushwackers for about 100 bucks less.
Thanks for all the compliments and suggestions guys. Also if anyone needs a set of gap gaurds, i have a brand new in the box set of PA's for 06 to 08 that i need to sell. I ordered them before i knew i did'nt need them because i have the factory fender liners.
I got just one word for that truck --- KILLER!!!
I mean THE ONLY THING I can find to criticize even an iota is that it kinda looks like the truck can't decide whether it wants to be blacked out or chromed out. I think if you did the bumpers and bull bar in black, painted the badges black and maybe even did black tips, you'd about the best looking truck I've seen in a while!!!

i'll chime in now...truck looks great! i never liked the orange look, but with the black theme, it really goes good together. i agree...black EVERYTHING out. and i was also about to ask about those flares, the bush ones run $400..crazy!
It's all body lift on the rear.
so i ordered the stampede "rough riderz" fender flares from truck champ.com
i dont see how these flares stay on. it looks like i bolt it to the fender well and use tape on the body. the thing that sucks, is that with flares there is space along the surface for crap to get into and sit. is this inevitable? i didn't wanna spend $265 on flares and then worry about gunnk just sitting behind the flares over time.
any feedback on these flares would be helpful. how have yours been?

the water actually washes out behind the flare since its not a 100% watertight seal.
And it bolts to the fenderwell with NO tape for the body. I cut a whole bunch of strips of 3m auto tape and have mine stuck down but gaps are inevitable and if you can get them to fit with no gaps then I will pay you to do mine
The problem is the rubber seal they use around the edge of the flare actually etches the paint. I had them on for a week and they had left a nice white line around the edge

do you regret purchasing these flares? i am seriously rethinking the purchase. maybe i might send them back. i got them now because the sell price was insane and didn't wanaa pass it up.
it sounds like these flares might do more harm than good to the paint...

There is a rubber seal that goes on the inner edge of the flares next to the body. Mine are sealed up tight all the way around. I actually pulled my rear ones off to remove the inner fender liner when i put the body lift on. Needed to gain access to the frame rails to install the crush blocks. Alittle dusty behind them...but no gunk laying in there. There are holes already in the fender lip, thats where they mount. I think there is also 1 or 2 more zip screws that go in each. I put a good dab of silicone in all the holes.
