Well guys, i am back to work after the shoulder surgery but have managed to find time to do some mods on the truck. A couple of vacation days and some help from my son and brother got the lift done. My wheel and tire choice...35x12.50 Nitto Trail Grapplers mounted on 18x9 KMC XD Monsters. After the black wheels were bolted on, that made up my mind about what direction i wanted to go. "BLACK" I removed the chrome door handle covers, sand blasted and had the nerf bars line-xed, plasti-dipped the fuel door and gave the tails and 3rd brake light the VHT treatment. I still wanna do the headlights and maybe black the bumpers and bullbar. I am lovin it. What a totally different look. Some guys at work thought i bought another truck...LOL

Did you ask the Line-X people about the bumpers? i think that would look good and you can do the grill and bull guard.

I got just one word for that truck --- KILLER!!!


I mean THE ONLY THING I can find to criticize even an iota is that it kinda looks like the truck can't decide whether it wants to be blacked out or chromed out. I think if you did the bumpers and bull bar in black, painted the badges black and maybe even did black tips, you'd about the best looking truck I've seen in a while!!!

 

It looks great man. When you get those stickers off and black out the chrome it will be perfect.

Looks awesome! Agreed with matt...once those rear emblems get blacked out it will look remarkable.

Looks great, and again great color choices. I think the Sunburst color looks awesome when together with black. Great choice!
