I was thinking about doing that Matt. Or maybe taking them off and having the rails line-x'ed. If i decide to paint them...is there anything special that needs done as far as prep/primer/paint ect that needs to be done for plastic?

Thanks MBM, the new dodge ram does have a version of my color its called Mango Tango. Mine is Sunburst Orange. The new color is alittle lighter...kinda looks like it has some yellow mixed into it. It looks pretty good, but i think i like the Sunburst Orange better.

to paint the thing black I would probably just sand it, degrease it, and put on krylon fusion black gloss or satin black and then a clear.

The krylon is cheap but works well on plastic if you arnt trying to match a color like sunburst orange or brilliant black
