Default What Brakes Do You Guys Recommend?

I have a 2005 Dodge 3500 with the Cummins diesel. I am looking at replacing the brake pads and rotor. What to you guys recommend? Stock Mopar parts or aftermarket? If aftermarket, which brand? I have seen many brands for sale on Ebay, but thought I would check with you guys first. I do tow trailers once in a while, but still want a long life brake pad. I still have the original pads on my truck, so I want something close to the same as the stock pads. Is there any advantage on the drilled rotors? Or should I stay away from them?
Any info would be great,
Thanks

I've always gone with PowerSlot rotors and Hawk pads, they've been good. Used to do a lot of bass boat towing from about '93 till '04, part of that time with a Ford Diesel and I have no complaints...

I got mine from Autozone and they have done just fine. Reliable, cheap, and in stock..you cant really beat it. I put on the Duramax Gold Ceramic pads and the drilled rotors. Total parts costed me just under $150 and took about 2 hours of labor.

+1 to hammer on the hawk pads and their rotors. My truck still has the stock ones on there but when it is time to replace I have found a set of Hawk HPS pads front/rear for about 150 and a rotor set for about 231/pair. For mine in particular Hawk doesn't make a rear rotor so I'm unsure where I'm going with them but either way Hawk is a really good set up.

I just cannot and will not buy pads that dont have a lifetime warranty. With that said, Im using Autozones ceramic C-Max pads. They cost about $60 for the front/rear

I think I'm going to purchase the Hawk brand pads, just unsure of what compound. Its a toss up between the LTS and Super Duty pads.
Which would serve me better? I only tow a trailer approx 12 times a year and the rest of the time is a mix of highway and city driving. Again it is a 3500 Ram.
The LTS say they are truck up to 1 ton, and the super duties are for 1 ton and over.
