I had never done a PA BL before and I did mine in one day. Granted it was a long day but thats also because i went slow and had no help.

As for is a 3" BL a big difference, well its about the biggest BL you can buy without having to make custom brackets for your bumpers. Sure there are bigger body spacers but no brackets for the bumpers to go with them.

A start? 3" BL and a level kit gives you 5" of lift up front, easily clears 35" tires and that's really about all you want to do with an IFS truck...

Weed: You're good man! I had a helper on each of the three trucks of my own and the two others that weren't mine that I've done and I NEVER got one 100% done in one day. Of course, I'm known to take some pretty long "Beer & Pizza" breaks...

General rule of thumb is PA for 02-05 and Zone for 06-up. PA is the most common and has quality parts.

It took me more than one day as well. Meticulous stuff

I just did mine a few weeks ago. One day is a tall order...took me two days with help. It is a time consuming job. I went with the PA kit. No problems with it at all. Everything was there and everyyhing fit. 3 inches dont seem like alot, but when you jack up the first side to put the blocks in you will be amazed at the difference. Throw some 35's on and you will be a happy camper. IMO its a perfect lift hieght/tire size combo for our trucks. Here is mine before and after.

I agree, I think 3-5" inches is the perfect height on IFS trucks. 6" looks good and isn't really much harder on the front end IF the kit is designed well, BUT it will clear 37" tires, and I'm not a fan of 37s on IFS components.

I went with a 4" suspension kit, mainly because I had done the BL "thing" or a BL/Level combo on my trucks before and at close to 40 years old (at the time) I kinda wanted to try a suspension lift for a little more "back friendly" off-road ride.

Well, like I said, it was a long day.
