Default Painting my mirrors

Howdy fellas. I was about to order some tow mirrors for my truck but I got to thinking about something. Do any of y'all know about paint matching the mirrors? I have a black truck and want to have the mirrors black gloss as well. Do I need to order them like that or can I take them to a shop and have it done? The plastic is rough and I was wondering what would have to be done to gloss them so they are smooth or appear to be. Thanks!!

I'm pretty sure that they only come in textured plastic. A shop would either have to try to sand them or use some resin to coat them to smooth them out before painting.

Yeah, I believe a paint shop would sand them, then spray them with a filler primer and sand them again. They would then repeat these steps until they were completely smooth, then paint and clear.

About how much would this cost do y'all think? I'm only paying $200 for the mirrors and I'd rather not have to match that haha
