New cai and grill

My grill has the black tabs securing the grill to the support. How do I remove those w/o breaking the support holes? Plus, what do I use to replace the black plastic tabs?

I can't remember exactly what they look like or what I did, but if I remember right I just snipped them off or cut them. All I used to re-attach it was cable ties. Cheap and looks a little tacky on the inside but you can't even tell from the outside. Here is a recent picture of the front end.

thats a sharp looking truck man. I've got the gutta mesh grill on mine too, I like the look. I painted mine black though.

Thanks guys, yeah that was right after a wax and is inside so its really shiny. Unfortunately she's beginning to rust above the rear wheels. Damn salt

Here's a picture of how I attached it. I also added a few cable mounts to make sure it was secured tight up against the front all the way around.

Maybe time for some POR and fender flares???!!??
