New cai and grill

Default New cai and grill

Finally had some time today to work on a couple things. I first made a homemade grill out of the gutter mesh material (from the DIY write-up in this forum). Then I also made a cai using an aem filter.

Might just be the pictures, but the grill looks quite restrictive as far as air to the radiator goes. looks good though.

Nah, it's just the angle of the pics, he'll get plenty of flow thru the 'gutta mesh.

Both look real good. Always like the home-made projects better than the store bought ones, gives the truck personality...

Yeah i think its just the camera angle cuz there will be plenty of air flow through it. Yeah I love how they turned out I wasnt going to spend a ton of $ of them so I just wanted to make my own.

Did you paint the mesh or at least clear coat it? It doesn't take long for it to rust subjected to the elements...
