Default flowmaster is soo sooo loud

from everything im reading, it appears that the magnaflow muffler would be the best fit for me. i have a 07 hemi mds shut off,but the flowmaster is way WAY to loud. i have single inlet and dual outlet.

does anyone have a part number or link for me to see what muffler i should purchase?

The kit number 16700 is for our trucks. Look it up and find out what muffler comes in the kit. www.magnaflow.com

You can typically sum up how loud a muffler will be by the length of it. I have Magnaflow muffler #12198 on my 07 Hemi. This is a 14 inch, single in/dual out muffler, and would be considered aggressive. If you want a less aggressive muffler, you should go longer, like maybe an 18 or 22 inch, etc. Most muffler brands will have numerous length mufflers to pick from. Also, you will need to decide what to do with your resonators, both of mine are removed (07 Ram Hemi has 2 resonators).

I had FM to start out with and I liked them but I do like my current Magnaflows better. Good choice in muffler IMO

Magnaflow 22" part number 14588 is what comes in the cat-back kit.

Is the 22 inch muffler you bought a Magnaflow? If so, excellent choice. My Hemi was sleeping before I had the Magnaflow muffler installed.
