I don't know if it's me or what, but the Hemi tick in my truck seems to have gotten a little louder. Has this happened to anyone? What could it be?

 

Its normal, I think every hemi ticks haha. My dads SRT8 6.1 hemi started ticking at 12000 miles...

 

we'll need to hear it personally to know for sure, just "engine tick" is hard to diagnose over the internet.
common failure on Hemi truck. Inspect the exhaust Manifold Bolts, see if any of them broke off. How many Miles you got? still have waranty?

For the SRT-8 engine, Noise are normal!

 

I'm having the same problem. I need to get it checked out to make sure it isn't something serious. It bugs me because it sounds like something's wrong and it's embarrassing!!

 

Check the manifolds mine did this also

 

How much trouble has there been with the 2004 hemi valve springs?

 

It's not just common to the SRT-8's. Most all 5.7/6.1 Hemi's have this problem.

 

they all tick dads brand new 07 ticks my 04 ticks and my grandfathers 06 ticks
nothing wrong normal

 

certainly get out there and check the exhaust manifold bolts for being loose or broken
