Default What sparkplugs to use???

What plug should i run in my 2008 5.7 ? The guy at the auto parts store told me it calls for a platinum plug. After alittle research, that don't seem to be true. Can somebody help me out with brand and part numbers.

Use the stock Champions, that is the general consensus on the forums. Unless you are using NO2 or forced induction most guys see no benefit it going with the platinum plugs.

I agree with Rich 2500. I have tried a few different types of plugs, and the Hemi seems happiest with OEM copper plugs.....or NGK equivalent.

The parts counter guy hasn't a clue. Both my Hemis got NGK 5306s. I'm not a fan of Champion plugs - I've never bought a good one.

AutoZones computer is wrong and tells these counter ***** that the OEM plugs are platinum. I already went thru this myself. It's a shame that so many auto parts stores hire people that don't know anything about cars.
I got my NGK copper V-Powers from Moe's Performance shipped for like $45 the last time. They have worked fine as well. I may go back to Champions next time if I can get them as cheap as the NGK's.
Larry 08, just take your owners manual in to the parts house with ya. It has the Champion part number in it.
