Default Peeling Clearcoat

Has anyone experienced clear coat pealing on there 3rd gen? I bought truck used about 5 months ago with 94,000 miles on it. Not much wrong with it, but now the clear coat is starting to peal on the B pillar of the passenger side. Makes me wonder if the previous owner just never took care of the truck or if its common? I mean you can just take your fingernail by the spot and peel off a clear film. Any help would be great. I can upload pics if u need to see.

My truck has clear coat coming off of the back of the roof. Wasn't there when I bought it a year ago.

The only thing you can do at this point is wet sand it and re-spray it.

I got a buddy with the same red that I have, but an '03 where mine is an '04. Lives in the same town in Ga. that I lived in for the first three years I had my truck. Since then, I've been splitting my time between there and central Florida and both trucks are outside 100% of the time. No garage, no carport.
His roof is peeling like hell and the paint has gotten pinkish. Mine still almost looks new. Only difference I know of is I wash/wax mine a minimum of every other month and his is still awaiting it's initial coat of wax...

Ya im guessing the previous owner never washed or waxed his truck. I am OCD about a clean truck unless im playing around.

You can add this to my list of woes with my 07 Ram Quad Hemi. I have clearcoat peeling around the door handles and window trim, but only on the passenger side. Makes me wonder if my Ram had paint work done in the past. My truck was a prior lease that only had 19K miles when I bought it in July of 2010.

If you have clearcoat peeling in one spot it is most likely been repaired and repainted in the area.
