Talking Almost ready to lift!

I'm a little OCD when it comes to projects and making lists, so hopefully y'all can help me out here. I finally received the last piece of my lift yesterday, and I hope to install it very soon. I have devised the following for what needs to be done:
  • Drop front "A" arm and remove shocks and coils to insert coil spacer
  • Re-install coil
  • Replace spindle, insert new shock
  • Swap front brake lines, bleed brakes
  • Remove sway bar
  • Install spacers and wheels

Just doing the shackles and shocks on the rear, seems pretty self-explanatory, then off to get aligned. Am I missing anything obvious?

Also, I found a good deal locally for 35x12.5R20 Federal Couragia M/T. Anyone had experience with these? Reviews I've seen around the internet seem positive for the most part. I'd like to get 18" wheels eventually, but this will have to do for now I suppose.

Can't wait to see it. Sounds like you have it all planned out. Be careful working with the springs and spindles. Don't want a round two of what happened to Matt.

And be sure to post up some pictures!!

Thank you. I hope it turns out at least as well as it does in my head LoL

I was looking through that post the other day and didn't realize that was there, right in the middle of all the other pics... that was almost enough to make me want to pay to have it done! But I have two competent helpers, and plenty of lift and safety equipment in my father's shop, so I'm hoping for the best. I also have a tripod, and am looking for a way to maybe do a time-lapse of the build. We shall see how it pans out.

by the way, I work in the SICU and have more available to me than probably 99.99% of the world and still am fighting an infection this much later. Turns out the bottom of a ball joint isnt sterile?

So you seem like a good person to ask... I had a good size chunk of skin taken off of my knuckle yesterday. Poured peroxide over it and covered it in neosprin and a bandaid. What's the best way to keep this from getting an infection?
