Default Glad to be back in the good ole U.S. of A! Celebrate by plasti-dip'n the rims(pics)

So to make a long story short. I went to Moscow Russia for the recent 4 week period. The company I work for opened 2 new branches there and I got the opportunity to manage the whole project. It was a pretty cool experience. Got back and got antsy with the truck. I am officially part of the plasti-dip club I guess. and blacked out the windows. Tinted them myself with a pre cut kit off ebay for like $17. anyways a couple pics from moscow then the truck got a mini photo shoot the other day...

St basil cathedral...this was awesome in person!

and now for some of the tuck with her new plassti dip'd rims...and before you comment on them, you may see I need to do a solid second coat on them. It started to rain on me so I couldn't take the time I wanted to complete the project. I taped off the tires on the rear and didn't have time for the fronts so yes I know it's a little rough around the edges Anyways I am really happy with the outcome.

That does look really good, I've been trying to figure out if I was going go powdercoat mine or just plasti dip them, was it hard to paint them with the tires on?

Thanks guys! as for the cars...most people drive little chicken nugget box sized cars. A lot of ford focus, peugots, fiats and what not. They ALL drive like nascar drivers as well. I thought we were aggresive in massachusetts...not so much. The last car is a Ferrari and the other white car was in a glass garage. Couldn't get close enough to see. Only saw 1 RAM the whole time I was there. Their seemed to be a huge spread in the wealth there. Lots of poor. Lots of wealth.
As for the wheels. I used a thin curved cutout of cardboard around the rim as I painted them. Plasti dip goes on so easy and smooth. By no means am I a pro but this stuff makes the job very easy. The hardest part of the job was getting the courage up to make the first spray(yes I know you can remove it, but it is still a big step to "spray" shiny chrome wheels with black paint.)
