So sorry, I would have hurled my lunch at the sight of that damage!

I had my truck splattered with some type of acid causing $3000 in damage, requiring an entire repaint of a door panel, the hood, a couple fenders, bumper, new side view mirror (partially melted), etc. My truck now has security camera with infrared night vision watching it around the clock when it's parked. Best $80 mod so far and you can sleep at night. Then if some one does something you have the satisfaction of having it on video for the courts to see and so you can tear them a new one.

i live in texas, dallas area, like seriously 2 things within a month......... killing me.

got it looked at by a body shop today and they said it will cost anywhere from $800-$1000 to have fixed completely .. he said that most of the big white one will buff out but at the beginning of it is a scratch and slight indention ... also i noticed right under my window seal of my driver door is a small dent and scratch that is down to the metal.......

i just dont get it....... bad luck i guess...

That's not bad luck, that looks personal!! I was at a junk yard back in 07 with my perfect 01 Black F150 parked on a paved lot. Was in the yard about 20 min. Came out and some douchebag had backed down both doors, creasing them and taking the paint too. Of course the camera on the building that pointed right at my area was a fake. Cost me my $500 deductible to get it fixed. The only good thing it that it helped me decide to trade it in on a new 08 Ram I'm pretty sure it was an illegal, uninsured Mexican that did it. They are all over that area.

If it requires painting the whole bed to match, then it might be worth it in the long run.
