To Gettysburg from Miami, FL nonetheless!

Here we just arrived.

Here was a stop on the way back from PA in Brunswick.



Understandably, the temps were about 250*F towing the trailer but I had no problems whatsoever. I was able to hit OD in some spots, but found out that my MPG didn't change whether I used OD or not. Off of OD, the engine revs were higher, but didn't need to work as hard so it's a trade off. Since I have a trans gauge as well, I kept an eye on it while in OD and temps didn't hit over 210*F, usually hovered around 180*F.

Still haven't had a chance to write up that article. It was pretty non stop. Was gone for 3 weeks and had a heck of a time!

 

Crap I almost forgot! One of our first stops was in Titusville where we were lucky enough to get a camping spot where we watched the last Space Shuttle launch. God Speed Atlantis.
