Default What brand of impact sockets?

What brand of impact sockets are you guys using and how are they? I've had a cordless impact wrench and also finally got a 60gal air compressor. I'd love to find a cheaper set of impact sockets that will hold up.

I would usually never buy Stanley anything, but I read some reviews that their impact sockets are decent. Craftsman sets are priced a little high but not terrible. I probably don't want to know how much snap-ons are.

I don't know about cheaper, maybe something from Harbor Freight. Otherwise, Craftsman or Snap-On.

What are you planning on using them for? If you do not use them everyday all day in an auto mechanic shop...go for the Harbor Freight socket sets. I have had mine for three years and have yet to break one.

Thanks for the input guys. Not in a shop, just working on the truck here and there.

Yep I would definitely just go with the Harbor Freight ones. And if you break a socket they should replace it. At least the manger will here in Fort Wayne IN.

Unless you plan to make a living using them, Harbor Freight.

I'm not sure what you guys have down there, but I've had good luck with Maximum brand, which is Canadian Tire's house brand of tool. I do not do a lot of work, esspecially lately, but I haven't had an issue yet. And they are not expensive... hence them being in my garage!

I've had a set of Harbor Freight set myself for about 8 years. No problems.
