Homemade bumpers anyone?

i dont have any drawings, i would share if i had them, but i literally build them piece by piece right on the truck

Those are real nice DodgeTrucker. Something like that will provide plenty of protection. But I wonder how the IFS of a 1500 would handle it. Do you know roughly how much those weigh?

IIRC the one on the mega cab was roughly around the 300 lb mark and the one on the dak was about 180 lbs, they could b built lighter but there are issues with warping while welding and the light guards are all solid stock, there are a few ways to save weight but think i got about the right mix of weight and rigitity

You certainly have a lot of talent with metal. I really like the one in your sig pic. They don't look shoddy home-made at all. I looked back at the pics and they just look amazing. I'm thinking you work with metal full time huh?

i dont work metal all the time but it is something i love to do when i get the chance, im a full time field tech for John Deere so that soaks up a lot of my time
