Weapon-R intakes
I was just making a wishlist on Carid.com and i came across a Intake system by Weapon-R for the dodge 4.7 http://www.carid.com/2004-dodge-ram-...ke-119180.html . I know i can make a intake at home for 1/4th the price. but i want some thing that looks nice too.
so I shot them an email and asked them for the dyno sheets. this was their response.
We have not dyno that particular intake. It will perform much better than stock. it allows the engine to breathe better. The foam filter allows much higher airflow over the stock to create horsepower.

So I asked them for any dyno sheets for any other v8 and I am await their response.

I don't understand how they can make it and NOT dyno it. Most reputable companies engineer their design using a dyno.
Sounds to me like they just set out to make a pretty CAI and use a hot chick to sell it.
I have to admit, the intakes I've made for guys are a little on the plain looking side (except the color match paint), I've seen some guys make them that have looked as good or better than most of the commercial ones. Just depends on your skill and patience levels...

Still have not heard back from them yet for dyno sheets on any other v8's. oh well what really caught my eye was the ram air kit i could run that down to my fog light hole. i know i know it could suck in some water but in Belton where i spend most my time these days we dont get much rain. and even if it did then id just disconnect it.. i wonder what it would take to make a diy with a ram air option.
