Default Raced a F150 Today

My son has a 05 F150 with the Triton 5.4 SDT tuner (or something like that), MSRB Cat back, and some CAI on it. I have a 07 Ram 1500 Quad cab with the Hemi Superchips tuner, Magnaflow Cat back, and a K&N CAI. Here's the vid. He red lighted but I let him catch up and pass me just a bit and still pulled out on him.

Gained 2-3 with the tuner, exhaust, CAI, and with stock tires, put the 2" leveling kit and BFG's on and lost it +1 more. It's not a neck snapping gain, very subtle gains, adjusting the shift points however she hits much better.

The Hemi has proven performance, so unless you've got the raw power to match, I don't understand why people even try.

I mean the new model has 397Hp STOCK. But the Ford didn't do too bad, it wasn't too far behind

I see, I cant wait to start modding. Im coming from the cummins, where a straight pipe is best. Is it the same with the Hemi? I currently have the cats, straight piped to the resonator.

I dont think the fords really ever claim to be ridiculously fast. They do pull better in my opinion.

my buddies new ram with the hemi is crazy fast in its stock state. Once he started modding it, it started getting scary fast!
