I was looking at KORE's website the other day because they make the suspension system for the Ram Runner truck. They make a pre-runner kit for 06-08 4x4 1500 trucks. http://www.koreraceshop.com/dodge-ra...ies-06-08.aspx I had noticed before that the stock replacement 4x4 and 4x2 UCAs are the same part numbers. So I thought maybe aftermarket pre-runner or longtravel 4x4 parts will work on a 4x2. I emailed KORE and asked them about it. Sam from KORE replied and said that they have not tried them on a 4x2, but he said that I could buy them seperatly from the kit for $275. His concern though was that they would let the suspension droop to far and pull the shock from it's mount. I think some limit straps could be used to keep that from happening. Also the way the arms are made they have less meat on the back side near the spring bucket then the stock arms, so maybe they will help with the UCA banging into the coil bucket. Seems like a great price for adjustable billet UCAs with rebuildable high angle ball joints. What do you guys think?

Id be more than willing to have you buy them a try them out haha. all things aside our shocks limit travel now so it would be no different if the UCAs would allow for more travel or not the shock is still doing the same job. i mean with no lift the shock reaches full droop and stops drop before the uca even comes into play so itll be no different. i dont see how these would cause the shock to rip out. if stock doesn't do it these wont. all this will do is allow for our UCA to not hit the bucket witch means we found a cheap alternative to CST uppers
Now as long as these keep the same geometry and same bolt locations as stock there is no reason for them to not work. If on the other hand the kore kit ads track width to the truck by having longer upper and lower control arms then we run into a problem using these with our stock lowers

I say ask what the return policy is first. if there is one order a set from a new service rep that doesnt know what your going to do with them and try them out. if all goes wrong send em back. or at the worst sell them on here. if its good the its good haha. 300 bucks really isnt that much money i mean its the price of one tire.

I highly doubt that they are $275/ pair. I think your looking at $275 each. just look at their kit
http://www.koreraceshop.com/images/p...0PreRunner.jpg
you have:
upper arms: $275 each/per?
CV joints : sold for $700 or $800 if bought separate from the kit (verified as others have done this)
Bilstein 5100's : ~$300 - $400
Minus the UCA's your only at ~ $1000-1200 and they sell the complete kit for $1900. No way they are selling the UCA's for $275 per set, they aren't going to sell you all of the individual parts from their pre-runner kit for less than the kit.
