Spray in bedliner
I'm going to attempt a spray in bedliner next weekend, anybody in the Dallas area done this before that can possibly lend a hand? just let me know. I have never done one before and could use all the help I can get. Going to use an Al's Kit but planning on tinting it to match the truck and still trying to decide if I will do it over the rails or not. Anybody have any input on that?

I don't know anyone personally that spray the bed themselves, when I had my silverado I had a Rhino Liner sprayed in and over the rails and I loved it. When I got the Ram it already had a spray in liner but only in the bed and the first thing I bought were the black diamond plate bed rail caps (which don't fit as good as I wanted). If you are going to spray it yourself and can tape a very straight line I would say go up and over the rails. It's definitely worth it for the extra protection and it looks good.
+1 on over the rails. That's what's on mine, and it's saved the truck from quite a few dings and scratches.
I'd also recommend going with a high-pressure system like line-X instead of low-pressure. Looks better IMO and I hear they last longer too.

I pulled the plastic POS drop in out this morning and it made the choice for me. Rubbed everywhere through the paint. I am gonna have to go over the rails, now I am just debating whether to mask off the truck or pull the bed off and do it that way, I think I may end up doing the rocker panels as well to repair some rust spots. idiot previous owner never washed the truck to get all the salt off. I found some under the bedliner this morning.

Be sure to take lots of pictures during the process. I plan to do mine with the U-pol raptor liner which can also be tinted to match the paint. I will just use the black though.

After seeing t-muns post I checked into the monstaliner kit and I'm gonna go with it instead of the als kit. Looks to be a better deal. Going to do regular black and doing the rocker panels and back bumper as well as 3 coats on the bed. Was told the 2 gallon kit would be more than enough.

Edit: I forgot to mention I actually broke 2 rusty bolts in the process and had to torch them out of the bed. Buddy has O2/Acetylene so it wasn't too bad.
You'll probably get to yours before I get mine so I'd love to see how it works out for you. They really stress on the prep work to make it work well. A lot of jeep guys are using this stuff so you might want to check out the jeep and 4x4 forums.

Prep work isn't a problem for me. The wife does autobody (I think I'm gonna put her to work since I paid for her schooling). I'm gonna order it next weekend but most likely won't get to it untill fall. When the temp down here cools of a bit.
