Those would be a set of caltrac's traction bars, they prevent wheel hop and attempt to keep your tires firmly planted to the pavement increasing traction

Ok is that an every day use mod or more of a strip mod?. Now for my next ignorant question. Does that go on the front end?

Well it is both, you will mainly find them on strip vehicles because of the added traction, reduced axel wrap and wheel hop, on the street though, with some higher hp mods, you also would want them just so you can hit the gas harder and gain some extra traction. It wont stop wheel spin, but it will reduce it.

It bolts onto the rear.

pfftt... these trucks don't have any wheel hop... idk what you are talking about..

lol.. obviously I'm being sarcastic.. Should be a very nice mod... kit quality looks great as well..

No wheel hop, that made me laugh.

Going to be getting the bars powdercoated a different color here soon which will really make them pop
