I would never fault anybody for trading up to a 4x4, although I really dug the look of your Ram.
None of the current trucks do a lot for me looks wise. Like you, I'm not a big fan of the front end of the 4th Gens. The Furds and Chebys look to boxy to me.
Good luck with it. I hope you have better luck than my last new Furd purchase, it dropped a piston on me with 14,000 miles on it (5.4 Triton). But some good came out of it - I didn't trust the rebuild and traded it on my first Ram, a '98 RCSB 5.9 4x4...

Damn you Matt! Haha, hope you like the new truck man. I looked at the new then 09 F150's before I bought my 08, like you said, money played a role in my purchase and I don't regret it a single second. I hope that you don't either. Take care man, hope to still see ya around every now and then.

haha brandon, sorry to jump ship!
and like I said, i think the Dodge is a better looking truck but I needed a reliable truck that I can take on trips, pass up at least every OTHER gas station, and not worry about if its gonna have a problem next week.
I actually have been kinda looking at the Challys as well! Always an option
