You Guys Are Going to Hate Me!
Well, Ive been casually looking for a new truck for awhile, not completely serious but pricing things out, etc.
I was in Dallas and went by a Ford dealership to look at that new ecoboost just to waste time, and happened to get there at opening. I had the paper and happened to see their ad for a rebate vehicle. It was a ridiculous price so I just asked figuring it was a scam to get you in the door. It was sitting out to the side, a new 5.0 SCREW 4x4.
I drove it, and bought it that morning (while mine was sitting in the driveway 400 miles away). It rides amazing, has awesome features, and is getting 21.5mpg so far.
So, boys, obviously my Dodge sold pretty damn fast. Sorry to say, but shes gone. I didnt have time to take anything off other than my toolbox! The day I put it out on the highway I had 21 voicemails after work haha.
I will still be around the site from time to time, and will not be modding this truck as much as the Dodge.
BTW, I raced my buddy with a new CC Hemi 2wd and pulled away from him. This new 5.0 is a beast after 2500rpms, I was amazed at how beefy this is. I am yet to drive that ecoboost though!

This truly is a very sad day

Congrats on the new truck Matt. Thanks for all your insight. My father in law bought the Ecoboost ealier this spring, and he loves it. He won't let me drive because he knows I want ti beat on it. Anyway, have fun with the new toy. Hey, now you can get an Edge programmer and let us know if the hype is true.

thanks guys. I am not a fan of the new Ram look, and obviously (with me driving a lifted 2wd) I care about the looks of my vehicle over a few other aspects.
Pitbull, there is actually a guy (kind of like hemifever) that does custom tunes with a SCT that makes ridiculous gains. Its like $500 but I figure it will probably be worth it.
