Default Leveling Kit Question

If you raise the front so the truck is flat, when you have the back loaded up or are towing something, wont the back squat down and create problems or look stupid?

Is the leveling kit just for looks on street trucks that dont do any heavy work? Or is it an offroad thing?

My buddy's F-150 is leveled. it raises the front end up, giving him more ground clearence off the front. Yes it does squat if its loaded. a lifted truck out too. It is for looks and off roading.

IMO if you level the truck and use it to haul or tow, you should bag it. Solves your problem...

I agree, Bag it if you tow. I will be adding a leveling kit to my '08 soon.

Or if you didn't want to bag it you could always install a set of helper springs. Even though, I do believe, bagging it would be a better option.

The problems with helpers are that you defeat the purpose of the level, because the extra set of leafs raise the rear and helper springs downright suck when you don't have weight in the bed or aren't towing. They'll bounce the rear end all over the road on you. Been there, done that, didn't get no stinking t-shirt...

Haha, I did not know about the worse ride. I have never had a set but my dad did and he loved them. But he never complains about anything, as long as it does the job it is supposed to do. Sorry about the t-shirt, lol.
