if your truck is newer than 2003 it will not work, only 03 and older is what this mod works on

 

Im not really sure what exactaly happens with the tmr. The only way to really know is to hook it to a analyzer to see what the tranny and engine are doing exactly but I can say it firms up shifts and it does seem to remove any type of torque reduction/traction control type thing. I also have noticed my truck now cruises at 2krpm at 60 where it use to cruse around 1400 to 1500. It either disables 5th gear or causes the torque converter to not lock up in 5th. Im leaning more towards disabling 5th gear myself but like I said there's really no way to know without an analyzer. I also have the sonnax and it seems to have made the tmr that much better but it seems the computer has slightly reduced the effect of the sonnax through adjusting line pressure. There's a diffrent type of line booster that adjusts the pressure diffrently. I can't remember the name of it but Im sure you could find it on here. Id go with it before I went with sonnax I believe
