Default New door speakers... What to get

So driving after a late night at the bar and music was a little loud(maxed out) ended up blowing my front door speakers and need new ones soon. I have replaced them on my 99 and ther was only 2 wires but my 08 has the infinity speakers. Are they any harder to do???

not hard to swap out but if you have the stock infinity system then you would want to find some same infinity replacements from members here or on ebay as they are frequency tuned and set. after market speakers wont sound good with the stock infinity amp

Good to know - I was going to replace my stock infinity speakers since I think they sound like crap to begin with. But if that just makes it worse (hard to imagine) then I need to rethink my plan. Have to yank the infinity amp and door speakers and replace all of it I guess.

Those Kickers look nice. I bought the Infiniti Reference speakers for my doors (I only have the 4 speaker system), and while they sound much better than the stock paper cone speakers, they were not made for bass reproduction. So now I'm going to need to add an amp and sub into the stock navigation to get my bass back.

Are the kicker's compatible with the Infinity sound system (reference weedahoe's comment above)?

I am really not impressed with the Infinity. Sounds OK, but not what I was expecting.

I just pulled my stock Infinity speakers out and replaced them. They are piles of sh*t. Paper speakers!!! I thought that they being Infinity's, they would be of quality, I guess that's why they sound like crap. My new speakers sound AWESOME. I bought Memphis Classic 6x9 component speakers and put the midrange in the dash like the stock Infinity's. Like I said, Nice. Bypassed the stock amp and put in a 400 watt amp.
