are you dead set on a srt? I run a good hood, and couldn't be happier. I have a custom cold box built for it, and have ridiculously lowered intake temps (monitored and logged via laptop).. plus, I've never had water come in contact with the filter..

the SRT hood is a shaker, right? made for cooling the engine bay and not exactly lowering intake temps, right? I could be wrong, so- that is a serious question..

I took the cheap route and bought a fake scoop for $160 color matched. Cut the front out of the scoop and did the old "gutta mesh" deal to it.

I still have to cut the hood and re-route my CAI up into the hole, but I've been busy working on the Jeep lately...

EBay is a good place for the fiberglass srt hoods not sure if you can use them for the RAM air like the steel ones but have seen the kits kinda pricey but I'm torn between the srt and the venom hood
