Not real sure what you are asking. What do ya mean y-pipe to single cat?

 

I'm thinking, that is if i ever do it. I am going to instead of using a Y pipe have a exhaust shop put an X pipe in then run to a dual in dual out muffler and run it out just in front of the back tire passenger side. True duals, hopefully not to expensive!
