I'm so glad I don't have to deal with that MDS nonsense anymore now that I'm in a 2500.

So did you plug one Magnaflow in to another? That would be the cheapest way to go. I can't imagine what Chrysler would want for a new exhaust system from the cat back? Any other tips on using two mufflers?

Thanks

Turn MDS OFF, it SUCKS, I even made a thread about it a month ago on how much it sucks. Get the SUPERCHIPS 3865 and be done with it. WORTH IT 100% and just set it back to stock before you go to the dealership, takes about 5min to set back to stock.

I am not sure if I read this correctly but, are you able to turn off the MDS while on the 87 tune / octaine or do you have to be on the 91?

What is considered a good price for the 3865?

you can turn off MDS on any octane tune, but 91 octane tune actually gives you the BEST MPG. The unit brand new is about $330 give or take, you can find used ones on ebay for $250 make sure they are UNLOCKED

i just went from a flow master 50 series to a magnaflow http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product__22316187-P_N3333E_P|GRP2023P____?cm_mmc=ET-_-Trans-_-Shipped-_-General#fragment-2
this one to be exact and it doesn't seem to be half as loud as the flow master it only cost me $35 at the shop to have them change it out. do you know if you have a chambered magnaflow or performance one.

The one I have now is a 24" oval, that's all I know. I am not sure where this one sits with other Magnaflow's? I will call Magnaflow and mention the one that you have to and see where it fits in. They have the XL series as well and from reading the info, it looks to be a toned down version in their product line?

I am a bit surprised how many people on here mention that their catback systems are too loud and or the problems that occur with the MDS. Not good for the big name exhaust manufacturers.

Well..I have ordered the Superchips 3865 and I am picking it up tomorrow. For that instant gratification, how do you stop or shut down the MDS? Is there anything to know about killing off the MDS with the gadget? Do I have to purchase something further for the transmission programming, or will it come with the 3865?

Thanks!
