Default Don't Bash Me..need mod advice

I know it is all in here, but I have been reading for a few hours and it is all starting to blend.
I have a 04 4.7 1500 2x4 with 28,000 miles on it. I started using this truck for my everyday vehicle for about a year now.
I only have a custom CAI so far... I am planning next month to add dual exhaust, programmer, thinking of intake manifold and new throttle body from thefastman. I want to keep my mods not too involved where I would be able to complete myself on the weekends. Bottom Line.... What would be the best bang for my buck and what are your recommendations? I am looking to spend only aroun $2000 next month including some needed steps to help my wife get in bit easier.

Definately, I forgot about that one. Thinking flex-a-lite 183.

I had westin bars on my 1500 and they rusted real bad (powder coated black)...

I have a set of Nasta fully stainless steel bars on my 3500 and they are holding up great so far. Just a suggestion.

The Nasta oval steps look good. Which ones did you get?

I looked on their site, it does not show 2004 4.7. I will reach out and see...

Probably don't need the throttle body, unless you're getting a programmer that allows custom tunes (eg, NOT a SuperChip). You may want to look around and see if the '08-'09 RAM's 4.7L intake will work on your truck. I hear it breathes better, and is a main contributor to the big power increase for the 4.7L in '08.
