cold air intake question

Hey Citori13, where did you get/ how did you make the piece that connects to your intake manifold? My friend has an 01 with the 5.2 and wants me to make him an intake and i havent figured it out yet.

It's actually just the stock one, except I cut her off right before the accordion tube and used a rubber coupling to connect to a pvc pipe. I didn't want to mess with finding/making one that would fit, when the stock one fits perfect, I just wanted to eliminate that accordion part.

I have a spectre intake actually ended up with 2 jegs sent me an extra one. But 160 bucks and it is from tb to filter with a heat shield. I had a home made one on it prior with a 5.0 mustang k&n filter 3 in. PVC pipe. Between the aftermarket and the homemade felt absolutely no difference. Like weed said, it's opinionated and bs just keep in mind cooler air temp going in better performance coming out.
