Default So many questions...

I have a 2004 2WD Hemi Black Quad Cab. I just got it leveled 2", and new Fuel Hostage wheels installed. I have a few questions about what to do next.

1. I have a DIY CAI, with a spectre air filter. I want a loud whistle, and I've heard Spectre isn't the best. Is there a different brand of filter I can slap on there, or would I be better off buying a brand new professional intake?

2. I debadged yesterday, and I am going to paint my emblems red, then rebadge. Where can I get the 3M tape/glue to stick the emblems back on, and what is the easiest way to remove the chrome prior to painting?

3. What should I do to my truck next? Throttle Body Spacer? Im interested in appearance, so anything will help.

4. I want to murder my truck out, other than the red, so what is the best/cheapest way to paint my bumpers black? They are chrome right now, and I want them to be black to match the truck. Should I get them sandblasted/powdercoated, or painted, or what?

5. Should I get a chip/tuner? I'm not trying to race my truck, but if someone revs their engine I want to have the ability to beat them without spending too much money. Also, a mpg gain could never hurt.

6. Also, what is a power wire/e-fan/thermostat? Are any of these worth it?

Thanks guys.

EDIT : I will be getting a new black paintjob within the month, with a red pinstripe.

I know my Spectre CAI doesnt make a loud whistle but you can hear it sucking in all that air at WOT. Almost everyone on here will tell you that your throwing away your money on a throttle body spacer, but my buddy got one for free when He got his CAI and he says you can hear it whistle. Ive never heard it. As for tuners I have a Hypertech Max Energy. I see alot of guys on here use Superchips, They have a little more options. If you go to FAQ's and DIY section you could find alot of answers to your questions.

I have a Superchips and I will say it is AWESOME. The 91 tune really wakes the truck up. As for the CAI I had the same setup you did and while it doesn't whistle it does growl at higher RPMs. I recently changed over to a K&N and it's actually quieter which I do like because it gets annoying hearing the intake all the time. The cheapest way to paint the bumpers would be Plasti-Dip. But the best way aside from professional painting would be to Line-X them. Power wires I would say don't bother with. E-fan you should definitely invest in and a 180 thermostat is only really useful on heavily modded trucks. But you could look into a 190 or 195 tstat

thanks, the thing is, I dont care if i have to get them professionally painted, as long as they look good. I just didnt know if i should get them sandblasted and powdercoated or if i should get them painted? also, my intake is fine for now, but i might get the k&n soon because ive heard a lot of people like them. Also,i wont look into a power wire anymore. Where can i get an efan? (link to best one if possible). also, where can i get a 190-195 tstat? (link if possible.) thanks so much
