The Cortex has wider vehicle coverage as far as the model it covers, but will still only do one vehicle at one time. It's other strength is the power train warranty it comes with - which you forfeit if you obtain/use the transmission tuning (which is totally worth having). So in that light, you are just as well off with the Superchips 3865 which costs less...

Well i just order the Flashpaq so hopefully that with fix the MDS issue. Called Superchips and they said both can turn off MDS. You would think dodge would read some of these post and make it to where they can turn off MDS. Thanks for the feed back......

What about it?

I believe the tunes are the same, dunno if you can get the optional tranny tuning with it or not, it's kinda new and I haven't had the chance to "play" with one yet.

I know you have to have an Android Tablet to use it or at the very least a Superchips approved smart phone. I don't have a tablet and there are only about a dozen "approved" phones on their list right now and my LG Thrill isn't one of them. I would imagine that a lot of Android phones not on their list will work and have just not been "approved" or tested by them yet...

Same tuning. You can upgrade to the optional advanced tranny tune.

It's an in-dash alternative to the hand helds, with lots of gauges and a maintenence minder feature.

Very nice!

As you become more familiar with your tuner, you may want to check out the advanced trans tuning option in the future.

Here's a post with some information: Superchips Transmission Tuning Information
