Actually, upon inspection I discovered that I lost a valve seat, dropped the valve. Now to determine if it took out the piston or not.
From what I have learned the pre-'08 4.7 is NOTORIOUS for losing the valve seat just on cylinder number 2 - which is where my problem lies.
It seems I'm snake-bit since last november. Lost my Job the day after Thanksgiving, five days later I have a caliper lock up and destroy the pads and rotor. Two days after I fixed that my radiator decided to split at the seam and now it appears I'm heading for major engine repair.
Good thing I didn't really sell my truck, huh???

I think if I find it did major damage and needs a new head, I'm gonna store the Jeep until I get back to work - I need surgery which is scheduled in May. After I can build up some funds, I may just replace both heads with ported and maybe even bored out a bit.
It all depends on how bad the damage is - if it's just a valve, seat and piston I'll probably just fix it now...
