Arrow I just need anybody's advice

Okay, so I believe because of my low amount of posts, I'm pretty much being ignored by everybody. But that probably won't stop me from asking the walls for help.

I just bought a 2005 Ram Daytona (Silver) 3 days ago. I have a very small list of problems that maybe someone could give me advice, help me out, or even just tell me their opinion on...

1.The previous owner removed the side body skirts, the rear spoiler, and Daytona decals. (Yes it is a Daytona, numbered, body kit front and back, Daytona hood, and it's got a hemi engine all numbers matching).

With this problem, I'm not sure how to go about getting the side body skirts because Dodge quoted me a price of almost $355 PER SIDE. The decals I was given a quote of $110 PER SIDE. And the spoiler I am not too concerned with because the down-force it actually gives, I don't think is necessary and they look kind of goofy.

2.I'm wondering what modifications should happen first. The ultimate decision will be from my mind, but I'd like some opinions of what mods look good on this truck in particular?

If anybody can help, I'd really appreciate it. If anybody has the side skirts, and would be interested in helping me out, I'll talk some $ and/or take my boards & Chrome bug shield off my hands. If nobody helps, that is alright too. I enjoy reading up on the posts of others on this forum, so I'll continue to stay and post here or there. Thanks everyone.

We don't ignore members with low post counts. However, you will get more responses if you post in the right section.

I will move this one for you.

Thank you very much, I'm uncertain of which section is for what. I thought my thread fit in the Ram section, haha.

Good first modifications I think are exhaust, cold air intake, programmer, window tint, leveling kit, hids. Interior, aftermarket radio ( double din pioneer in my truck ) maybe a sound system for under the back seat. Those are some of the mods done on my truck and I'm vary happy with them.

If your set on getting the Daytona side skirts just save a search on eBay and Craigslist to try and find a deal on a set. I wouldn't be too worried about them personally but some people like the sticker packages and stuff like that. Stickers and side skirts don't make it less of a Daytona but if you really love that look then eBay or cl will be your best bet for a cheaper price.

I agree. Dealer or used is the only way to go. Eitherway, your prob gonna have to have either one painted which will add another few bucks to the bill!

You got any pics of the new ride?

Right now I'm at work, I'll wash the pollen and dust off the truck before I post pics around 430-500ish most likely, I'll get some side pics so you can see the running boards. I would just take them off, but then there is a 5 foot gap of nothing between body kits. I'll be VERY open to suggestions.

Take note the "spiffy" running boards on this thing. I took off the matching rear mud flaps last night, unfortunately I mangled them because they were half way off, and the little 1/4" steel plate was holding them onto my inner skirt, so I just cut the 1/16" diamond plated mud flap off around the bolts. Yes, I know I'm a genius (psych), just got frustrated. I'm really looking forward to putting my own style into the truck. I'll post pictures when I get my Daytona decals back, I'll be putting them on with me, myself, a spray bottle of soapy water, and a squeegie. Lots of fun ahead.

This is what I'd like it's future to possibly look like.

So far, I've got a tuner for it, and the stock Borla exhaust is awesome. Maybe I'll get a Gibson in the future?

And for those out there who would like to know it's truly a daytona (Besides the hood and body kit).. Here you go

Clean looking truck! As far as the side skirts go, I would agree with Dirty. Best chances would be either stealership or ebay. You might get lucky prowling thru Craigslist, but that is a long shot. Either way you will most likely have to get them painted. If I were you, I would get the chrome bug guard painted to match, get rid of it, or get the chrome grill to match. To me, (my opinion doesn't mean crap) it sticks out like a sore thumb.
