Default Borla Exhaust

Does anybody have a Borla Cat Back Exhaust and how do you like it?
I'm thinking about installing one together with an AEM CAI.
Thoughts, suggestions?

That's a nice truck, but then again I'm partial to red quad cabs...I have the Mopar catback that Borla designed for Dodge, I like it, though I sometimes wish it had a little bit more growl (but I like the fact that it doesn't drone).

if i was 20 years younger the borla would be to tame for me.

It has a nice sound but if you are looking for that deep rumble i would go with Magnaflow or flowmaster.

I did gain a little power with the borla.

here is thread with sound of borla.

I read that the magnaflows and flowmaster give alot of noise in the cab.
When I was a kid, i would have just dumped a glasspack or cherry bomb on it and called it a day, but i expect to have this truck for the next 30 years, so I really want to do the right thing.

Yup. Definitely cleans it up. Seemed to me to run smoother after I put them in. I have what I need to put in the 6.1 coils, just haven't gotten around to it yet.

The Borla catback isn't bad, ran it for a few years. Take off the resonated tips to give it more of a growl. Then dumped it and that sounded good but still wasn't quite right. Picked up a Borla xr1 and haven't looked back. Mean loud and a nice idle.

And here's how she sounds now modded out (xr1 for the first 50sec or so, cutout for the rest).

Going to take it down for an actual dyno tune soon which will drop the idle down a bit more.
