06-08 Zone Offroad 6" lift
I'm about to finally get a lift, and am leaning towards the Zone Offroad 6" lift for my 06 1500 4x4.
I was wondering if anybody has been running this lift on their truck, and if so, what do you think of it?
I'm also considering the Fabtech 6" basic kit due to budget (I don't have the funds for the coilover kit). I have read several posts about the poor angles of the Fabtech lifts, and that is kinda pushing me towards the Zone lift. But on the forum's sticky poll about lifts, it looks like there are more people running the Fabtech lifts.
I would appreciate any input from people with either lift.

Both are built upon the same principals. They use strut spacers and new knuckles. I am willing to bet you may have the same potential problems with angles on either kit. The fabtech Performance kit with coilovers would be your best bet but who really has 3k laying around. If I had to decide between the two, I'd lean toward the zone kit, as they're very similar in design, but a few hundred cheaper. You can use it to replace steering components down the road as they start to fail.
I have a rough country lift 5"-modded into 5.5", and a body lift with 38's. I have had not problems yet with the lift, and its been over 3 years. Condider that one, its cheap, and works effectively, angles arnt bad either.
Thanks for the replies. Now the Rough Country is on the list to consider. I'm still up in the air about which lift to go with. They all seem so similar, but why do some cost so much more than others? Do they include something that the less expensive ones don't include? Are the parts made with lighter gauge metal? I hate to spend that kind of money without finding out as much info as I can.
personaly i would go with the Rough Country...a buddy mine has that lift on his Ram for about 5 years now and has had no problems
