Default Got board today so I bought to plasti dip PICS

I like the look of black on white instead of the chrome so just for kicks i wanted to see what it would look like and I think my next set of rims will be black. What do you think?

I dunno man. Maybe if you had some white letter tires. Could be the darkness of the photo too.

I plan on doing this with in the next week but I had a question, did you just spray them while they were still on trick and mounted to the tire or did you remove them?

I have read different articles on here were people done both so I figured I would ask you because you have just done it...

With the same stuff as you do the rest of your truck...Plasti-Dip is highly resilient.

White letter tires with black rims.....FOR REAL?????

On my second gen i took all four tires off but this time i didnt have a jack so i left them on and did alot of masking around the rim. The only bad thing is its a pain to spray the hard to reach spots.

I took mine off and that made it really easy. I didn't mask the tire off at all. Once the plastidip dries it is just like dried glue on the rubber and you can just peel it right off. I clean my wheels with soap and water, thats all it takes and so far once I clean them they look just like the day I sprayed them.

how much does a can of that cost? i wanna do my rims and emblems...maybe my grille.
