For your 2004, try THIS mod. It's free. It does put more stress on the electrical wiring, but many guys have done it with out any issue's. I think you have beefy wiring and since all Rams prior to 2006 have mechanical relays, it's not as big of a deal as the 2006+ Electronically controlled tipm's that are super sensitive to current demands.
I'd offer to build Brite Box's for 2006+ guys, but if you really want one and want to be 100% safe that's not a problem. I just think you could spend money elsewhere's.

Yes. It's year specific though... only 2005-prior and not all years have the Relay in same location apparently. If you have an '04, it'll be the same wire routing as what Hammer has done in that link.

The pre-TIPM ('05 and before) jumper wire between the relays works well, but be advised that you now have your fogs on when your high beams are on.

I've since taken this wire out as I wired my off-road lights to the fog light relay so my fog light switch turns on both the fogs and the off-road lights (I hate cutting the dash for switches because they never look "factory").

I tried an experiment in my Jeep in using a wireless relay which works GREAT, especially if you have the HomeLink feature as you can program an un-used button on that to turn on/off your lights. The other nice thing about the wireless relay is that you can operate your off-road lights with a key fob (included) from outside the vehicle, which is a HUGE advantage when you have to use your winch at night.

I've purchased one for the truck and when I install it, I'll re-connect the wire for high-beams and fogs again...

Or you can illegally run HID's in your stock housing like me to where the brights are the equivalent of a cell phone. They aren't blinding bright btw if you go with the bluer ones
