I've already ordered the new rims and tires so I won't get 37's for a while if I were too, I'm just curious

I don't think more solid cv axles are available for us

That's the proper way to look at it.

People think I'm 100% dead set against real high lifts and huge tires on IFS trucks and I'm not.

I've just seen first hand a lot of guys (younger ones primarily) who talk their parents into dumping $4000-5000 on crazy high lifts for their IFS truck when none of them have the slightest clue what a CV axle is or that the truck just simply isn't built to handle such lift height or tire sizes. When sh*t breaks it's too late to learn about SFA vs. IFS. Obviously, most 4x4 shops are not going to explain it to them and turn away a couple grand in labor, although there are some reputable ones out there. I personally know one shop who makes you sign a waiver before they install anything above and beyond what they think is reasonable for the truck to handle and another who simply will NOT install more than 4" of lift on an IFS truck and a few who won't stack suspension and body lifts unless the truck is SFA no matter how much money they stand to turn away.

I got no problem with people going super high on an IFS truck, especially those who know how to fix/upgrade their suspension components. I just try to explain the problems that you ARE going to run into to those who are naive on the subject...

I know Eaton makes a couple different types of lockers but I don't know if they'll work for our trucks
