Reliable jack stands?
The biggest fear I have with putting the lift on my truck is if one of my jack stands breaks, bends, cracks or whatever and causes the truck to fall. I don't know why it scares me but it does. Mostly because I don't trust manufactures to build trust worthy components these days. Companies seem to take the cheapest way possible when build things and then charge the most they can for it.
So with all that being said I was wondering if anyone has even has problems with jack stands and what brand of stand you would recommend. It's a 1500 so I'll be going with 2 ton jack stands. THANKS!!!

Sorry, seen too many Chinese made Harbor Freight sh*t break at WAY under the listed capacity to trust any of it. I limit my HF purchases to cheap hand tools when I don't want to chance my good ones out in the field or wherever. I've broken their "10,000 lb." rated receiver/shackle combo pulling a 700 lb. ATV before.
You want piece of mind then spend about $100 and get a pair of either Hein-Warner or Craftsman. Just watch the Craftsman ones, the $35 ones are Chinese, the $100 ones are US made...
